000.300 - So many questions...
What is life, but a certain number of questions without an answer?

What happens when we forget we ever wished for an answer?

What happens to us if we lose the ability to question the motives of those who command us?

And as a side note: Why can't the big kahoonas think of more useful things to torture us lowly pawns?

Why is it as soon as you have to ask questions, you start waxing poetic?

And what makes you think we'll lose the ability? Ain't that a little pessimistic?

Why are you always showing such skepticism when confronted with metaphor? Don't you like it?

Why is it pessimistic when one has doubted the intentions of this game from the beginning? Haven't we only met the henchmen so far? Isn't it logical to question the 'trust' put into the sovereigns of this realm?

Did it ever occur to you that I might not be the metaphorical type?

Don't you get tired of thinking about that? Shouldn't we focus on the real issues at hand?

No, you're more the behead and ask questions later kind, right?

Why, my dear, do you think I do not focus on the real issues? Isn't it as important to look at the big picture than planning the slow evisceration of the other team?

How'd you guess~?

Maybe I'm a bit more narrow-minded than you? If it doesn't concern me at the moment, why should I think about it?

Perhaps is does concern me? I was First Lieutanant of the Prime's army, you know? So this stuff would fall into my job parameters, don't you agree?

I guess I don't have a choice but to agree, eh? Fuck, if it makes you happy, then I shouldn't rub it in that I find it silly, right?

Why do I see it as a good thing that you do rub these things in?

And why can I not argue for my point of view in this discussion?

No wonder you're so negative in the trust department; this whole conversation must be terrible uncomfortable for you, right?

But what else if there to do if we are not allowed some nice eviscerations between contests?

Maybe I should get over myself, hm? Everything I don't have control over pisses me off, understand?

How about we go blow shit up? That doesn't require a whole lot of talking, does it now?

If we lose our ability to question, are we really fighting the right battle?

And shouldn't they in fact think of something that's more than just annoying?

And how are you doing, Jazz?

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]silverknight
2008-06-22 06:21 pm UTC (link)
Doesn't is seem like that? Without us asking about it, where would it all go from there?

Do you also have the feeling that all this annoyance is a kind of preparation for the big bang?

Isn't it great that you show such care in me? Wound't I feel even better if my sensors were back to 100% and not at the slightly diminished 40% that they are at now?

Do you feel alone?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]hornfreak
2008-06-22 09:19 pm UTC (link)
Don't you think it would all go to hell, and not the right kind of hell, if we didn't at least question?

If the big bang were no worse than this, wouldn't we be lucky?

Isn't it too bad I can't help with your sensors even though I do care?

Don't we all feel alone at times, especially you, disconnected from the voices you miss so much?

I do not have a reason to disagree about that, do I?

And we'd even be much luckier if there could be a slight chance of survival as well?

Would you be so nice and help with the de-glitching once it's all over?

Wasn't it a wise man who said than lonliness compares to the most enthralling kind of happiness?

Do you think I'd really refuse to de-glitch you, especially after you took such good care of my body?

Is there a double meaning to that word or is that just my hopeful mind?

Should I be ashamed that I don't know that expression about loneliness? Should I go so far as to say that I agree but I'm also glad to not be completely alone?

Would it be a bad thing if there was a double meaning?

No, wouldn't it be me who should be ashamed as I do not remember where I heard it? Perhaps you should, right?

[OOC: this Jeopardy game is getting difficult. Difficult but still fun. I've never before built so many questions in English in one day.]

Do you think I would ever object to you propositioning me?

Do you think though that perhaps loneliness is best with company to balance it?

[OOC: I didn't think how hard it must be for someone who isn't a native speaker. Which is not to say you are making mistakes; you're not.]

Why so many questions? Why is this happening?

...At least this is slightly better than having a faulty memory for a day in someone else's body, do you not think so?

Always?

For me this day presents some difficulties, you know? The parameters of my own language do not have a form of question, if you'd like to know?
